About Us

We are

a Catholic Church that is open to all

a Catholic Church that does not discriminate

a Catholic Church that is both faithful to the historic teachings of the church, and open to new understandings of the human condition

a Catholic Church that knows God loves us all, as God made us

The United Ecumenical Catholic Church - North America (UECC - NA) is a constituent member of the Universal Body of Christ. We are a Catholic Christian community that is committed to the person of Jesus Christ and to His teaching. We accept and believe the testimony of His apostles who were His first disciples and eyewitnesses of His life, death, and resurrection from the dead. It was these same disciples who passed on to the church their own testimony about the person of Jesus and the events of His life. Embodied in their testimony are the very teachings of Jesus Himself.

To the "searching" Christian, we offer

·         The Seven Holy Sacraments of the Church

·         A young, active and inspired outlook

·         A commitment to “practical” church and good works

·         Valid Apostolic Orders

·         Encouragement of all people to contribute time, talent or wealth as they are best able

·         A desire to have input from all members of the church in the decision making process

·         A non discriminatory charter that accepts all people

·         An opportunity for the laity to be fully involved in "church-building" and the building up of the Kingdom of God

·         An acknowledgement that The Holy Spirit assists us to grow spiritually as we are able

·         A Catholic style of Worship

Our church is a welcoming worship community and we do not discriminate on the basis of gender, marital or social status, race, economic ability, orientation, or other baseless form of discrimination.

While we acknowledge and respect the larger churches such as the Roman Catholic Church and Anglican Communion, we wish to make it clear that we are an independent church with our own governance.

We welcome all to the Altar of Christ and refuse communion to no person who seeks it reverently. Christ did not refuse to feed the physically or spiritually hungry - neither do we.

You are welcome in our church
